So we have all believed in Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Saviour, but have we Believed in His words though?

John 3:3 reads;

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

Was He being so serious for no apparent reason? Ask yourself, what does it mean to be born of the Spirit of God?

1 Corinthians 15:14 reads;

“And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.”

Why is the resurrection of Jesus Christ so important? Because it was as a result of His resurrection that we were given the Holy Spirit! And those who have been born of the Holy Spirit are to expect a glorious resurrection, not onto death, but onto eternal life with God the Father! Has this tied down well with the first verse (John 3:3)?

Why is this so though? Why must one be born of the Spirit once in Christ in order to gain access to the Kingdom of God and eternal life? Because only those born of God’s Spirit are His Children, and only His Children are worthy of His inheritance in heaven.

Once born of the Spirit, we must then live within the Spirit in order to bear fruits of His Holy Spirit. What does this really mean? This simply means, just like a child born of their mother depends on their mother for nutrition, so must we also depend on the word of God for our new being’s daily nutrition without season ! These words are all spirit filled, with the main aim of developing those born of the Spirit to bear fruit!

Not only must we keep listening to Grace filled messages, we must also worship Him in all our thoughts and in all our deeds-but most importantly, we must focus on His presence being with us through the good and the bad, through sickness and in health, through trials and temptations, through failures and successes, till we are reunited with Him in Heaven.

So the question then is, “Are you a Child of God yet?”
